In this interview, Carina speaks about her inspiration, the design process, and styling tips.
Hi Carina, go ahead and introduce yourself.
I’m Carina, I’m 38 years old and I live in the beautiful state of Salzburg. I’m a mum and have been a content creator for many years in the field of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.
How would you describe yourself in an emoji?
Hm, I’d probably be the lady with the raised hand:
She’s curious and communicative with an air of humor, and that sums me up perfectly.
What motivates you?
Aside from my career, it’s my family. At the end of the day, my kids remind me of what really matters in life.
Where did you get your affinity for fashion?
My affinity for fashion came relatively late on. It really only began when I started working as a content creator.
Where do you get your fashion inspiration from?
Mainly from Pinterest or Instagram.
What trends are inspiring you this Spring/Summer 2026 season?
Most definitely the transparent fabric trend because it’s perfect for feminine looks in spring and summer, and that’s where I think we’re spot on with our laces for the collaboration sneaker.
What do you associate with Paul Green and why was this collaboration so important to you?
For me personally, Paul Green represents modern yet super high-quality shoes that are incredibly comfy. And this opportunity won’t come around twice for me! Since I didn’t just want to launch a modern shoe, but also a comfy shoe for everyday wear, this is the perfect match for me.
What was particularly important to you when designing the shoe?
In terms of the design, it was very important to me that I could mix and match the shoe with both sporty and elegant outfits.
What color palette did you go for and why?
In all honesty, when it came to the color palette, I looked to my own wardrobe and opted for beige tones. Beige is so timeless and brings a sense of calm to your wardrobe. And the pink accents give the shoe a playful look and add lightness to the design.
And why did you opt for a flat sneaker?
I chose a flat sneaker that I would wear day in, day out as a mum – it’s practical and comfy, yet stylish.
What did it feel like to hold the finished shoe in your hands for the first time?
I was blown away the first time I met with the design team because it was completely in line with my moodboards. After the adjustments had been made, the design was spot on. The shoe is exactly as I imagined it and I was so impressed with the result.
What are your styling tips for the sneaker?
The sneaker is incredibly versatile, however I prefer to style it with light-colored jeans and a matching blazer. The shoe is also great for wearing with a business outfit, shorts, or a sporty look.
Can you describe your shoe in three words?
Playful, timeless, and chic.
